Dog Walkers Code of Conduct

Superdog Walks is proud to be part of the professional dog walkers voluntary code of conduct for Adur and Worthing.

This is a voluntary scheme and means insurances are vetted by the dog warden service along with vehicle legality.  You can be assured that professional dog walkers that adhere to this code of conduct take full responsibility for the health and actions of the dogs in our charge.

The Voluntary Code of Conduct

As a member of the above scheme, I agree that I and my staff shall at all times whilst working:

  • treat our charges humanely, causing no harm or suffering, either physical or mental
  • be aware of our charges actions and behaviour at all times
  • hold public liability insurance for a minimum of £5million
  • be aware of and comply with all laws, including bylaws, local laws, Public Space Protection Orders and any other regulations regarding our charges, noting that these laws will change according to the geographical area we are working in
  • have the contact details of our business attached to all dogs while in our care to assist a lost dog to be returned
